City Pipeline

Our city is filthy. Who is responsible and what are we going to do about it?

The plaza outside the Iriya has been torn up and the big stairs are blocked off. Kikar Ashtum work has been stalled. What is the plan and status of these projects? Was there a public process? When will they be completed and where is the money coming from?

Plastic, plastic everywhere. Can we reduce and be better at recycling?

We will be looking for answers.

Milestones

This custom Ner Tamid was created by local glass artist Sheva Chaya of Tzfat Glass for the new Zidichov synagogue, located near the central bus station.

There are two wicks in the unique oil lamp, one for the tzaddik of Zidechov and the other for the Abir Yaakov.

Jewish settlement in Tzfat dates

back to the Maccabees.

There has been uninterrupted Jewish life here since - longer than anywhere else in Israel!

This newspaper is dedicated to the memory of Jimmy and Lillian Cohen, who found their forever home in Tzfat in 1979.
