The Tzfat Herald article on the Ziffer Sculpture Garden seems to have finally gotten the attention of the municipality.
Two days after our story appeared, city workers were seen cleaning the premises. Thanks to the quick eye of concerned citizens, precious historical documents were saved from the trash heap.
Despite the fact that it is a public space with strict guidelines set out by Moshe Ziffer’s will, plans for the park are being kept under wraps with no public input solicited. The garden remains locked.
We will continue to watch developments.
